📋 DLT Registration (Mandatory)
As per TRAI regulations, all businesses sending commercial SMS in India must register on the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platform. This includes registering your business entity, sender IDs, and message templates.

Register your business (PE — Principal Entity) on the DLT portal of any telecom operator (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL).

📜 TRAI SMS Regulations
Promotional SMS Rules
- Allowed only between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Must not be sent to DND/NDNC registered numbers
- Must include opt-out option
- Template must be pre-approved on DLT
Transactional SMS Rules
- Can be sent 24/7 (no time restrictions)
- Can be sent to DND/NDNC numbers
- Must be service-related (OTP, alerts, updates)
- Template must be pre-approved on DLT
🚫 NDNC / DND Compliance
The National Do Not Call (NDNC) registry, also known as DND, is maintained by TRAI. Numbers registered under DND should NOT receive promotional messages. Violations can result in heavy penalties.
⚠️ Penalty: Sending promotional SMS to DND-registered numbers can result in fines up to ₹2,500 per violation. Our platform automatically filters DND numbers from promotional campaigns.
